Welcome to Empowering Your Desi - a blog and platform aiming to share and promote stories from South Asian girls.

I started this blog and page to help South Asian girls like myself feel heard, supported, and loved. I have continually felt frustration at the lack of resources available to Desi immigrants, and the shocking assumptions and generalizations that others make about us. It feels as though we have no place to truly express ourselves and share our thoughts in an open space. I hope that this website will help you to share your story, connect with others, and empower and embrace your Desi.
